Musket Transport Makes Christmas Possible with The Salvation Army

Musket Transport is proud to announce its continued partnership with The Salvation Army, supporting the organization through the Christmas season. This year, Musket Transport is collaborating with The Salvation Army's Ontario Distribution Centre to provide essential container storage and logistics services.

Greg Nembhard, Executive Director of The Salvation Army Ontario Distribution Centre, expressed his gratitude: "We are immensely grateful to our valued corporate partner, Musket Transportation, for their generous support of The Salvation Army and assistance in storing and transporting items, including toys, collected during the holiday season. Their commitment to giving back during the Christmas season and beyond makes a world of difference, and we couldn't do it without partners like them."

Musket Transport's storage capabilities enable The Salvation Army to efficiently manage the influx of donations received during the holiday season. Musket Transport's contribution includes providing a container on site at the Ontario Distribution Centre, allowing The Salvation Army to accommodate items that exceed their building's physical capacity.

Musket Transport's involvement throughout the year plays a crucial role in ensuring that The Salvation Army can receive and distribute items to those in need quickly and effectively. Items including toys, such as the ones collected during the CTV Toy Mountain Campaign, clothing, and personal care items are received from corporate partners across Ontario and distributed to over 60 ministry units and partner organizations throughout the Greater Toronto Area through the Ontario Distribution Centre.

This collaboration builds upon Musket Transport's previous partnership with the Salvation Army Mississauga Community Church from 2017 to 2022, during which they provided containers, transport, and storage for their annual toy drive.

Musket Transport is honored to continue supporting The Salvation Army's mission of bringing joy to children during the holiday season and looks forward to making a positive impact in the community through this partnership.
