CHET Opens New Campus in Burlington

Commercial Heavy Equipment Training (CHET) is proud to announce the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art training facility in Burlington. This new campus is designed to meet the growing demand for professional truck drivers in the region and will feature cutting-edge training tools and programs to ensure the highest quality of education for aspiring drivers.

The Burlington campus is strategically located to serve the western part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the Golden Horseshoe, providing accessible training opportunities from Niagara to Wellington County. The facility includes advanced simulators, projectors, dedicated training yards, and modern classrooms, all aimed at delivering an exceptional learning experience.

Sandra Graham, CHET Operations Manager, emphasized the importance of the new facility stating, "Burlington is a prime location for commercial driver training. Our large, modern facility and efficient training yard will significantly enhance the learning experience for our students."

The new location addresses the industry's high demand in the area and relieves the overcapacity at the Mississauga CHET campus. The excitement from both instructors and students is palpable, as they look forward to utilizing the new, modern building.

Francois Jeddi, CHET Sales Manager, highlighted CHET's longstanding reputation saying, "With close to three decades of experience, CHET has established itself as a leader in the trucking industry. Our highly qualified instructors and comprehensive training programs are recognized by major insurance companies and industry bodies. The new Burlington campus will continue our tradition of excellence, producing top-quality drivers to meet the industry's needs."

CHET invites the community to join the grand opening event on August 28th, 2024. The event will showcase the new facility and celebrate CHET's commitment to supporting the transportation industry by providing quality training and producing skilled drivers.
